WHAT WE BELIEVE
The following are the core beliefs of North Boulevard Church of Christbased on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible land invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Bible
The Bible is God's Holy and inspired Word. He breathed it out and preserved it throughout the ages. It is truth and the source of all authority.
Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect and blameless life on earth, was crucified, died, and was resurrected on the third day. He is the fulfillment of God's plan for our salvation.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised Him from the dead and now, by grace, offers a free gift of eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. All those who believe repent, confess and are baptized into Jesus Christ will inherit the kingdom of God.
OUR MISSION
Our mission at the North Boulevard Church of Christ is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
OUR VISION
The vision of the North Boulevard Church of Christ is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life-changing reality of the gospel as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
COME VISIT US
We'd be very honored to have you come visit us. We meet for Bible study Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and begin our worship services at 10 a.m. We also meet for Bible study Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.
We're located at 14901 North Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. You'll recognize our building by the picture above. Parking is at the rear of the building and you can enter by either of our two drives.
